Additional Information

Competition Format

All events will be grouped by test level as of entry deadline. Males and females will compete separately if entries warrant. Levels with more than 8 entries may be divided by age. Skaters may enter one level higher than the level for which they are otherwise qualified. Freestyle levels may be combined if there are less than two in a group. ALL AGE RESTRICTIONS MUST BE NO OLDER THAN STATED AGE AS OF JUNE 25, 2014.  Seperate male and female locker rooms will be available.

ADULT SKATERS: Please indicate your freestyle level on your entry form

The competition schedule will be posted by Friday, July 18 online only at www.amesfsc.org.

The practice ice schedule will be posted at www.amesfsc.org by July 22.

Rules/Sanctioning

USFS rules will apply. The 6.0 USFS judging system will be used for this competition. The referee reserves the right to combine groups of similar ability, if entries warrant. Athletes are not required to be member of the USFSA to participate in State Games, but must meet USFS eligibility requirements. Participants must residents of the State of Iowa.

Athletes will receive a colored T-shirt.  T-shirts will be available at your venue.

Medals will be presented to the top 3 skaters in each event and will be presented throughout the competition as soon as possible after the conclusion of each level.
